Fuddy Duddy v sobě nese estetickou tradici rakouského formálního filmu a téma souboje pořádku a emocí. Černobílé čtverce ve formě plných objektů a sítí symbolizují základní formy řádu a jsou na diváka explozivě vysílány z neviditelného zdroje energie. Stálá, rytmická, rychlá proměna světelné tonality a kompozice v obraze i zvukové stopě uvádí diváka do stavu recepčního transu. Přesně to chce tvůrce a přesně to si žádá soustředěný divák.

Fuddy Duddy builds on the esthetic tradition of Austrian formal film and the theme of the conflict of order and emotion. Black and white squares in the form of full objects and nets symbolize a basic form of order and are transmitted onto the viewer from an invisible source of energy. Constant, rhythmical and fast changes of light tones, and compositions of image and sound tracks get the viewer into a sensory trance state. This is exactly what the creator intended and a focused audience wants.

Narozen v roce 1976 v Grieskirchenu a vyrostl v Heiligenbergu (Horní Rakousy), kde dosud střídavě žije. Studoval experimentální vizuální tvorbu na Univerzitě pro umělecko-průmyslovou tvorbu v Linci, kde od roku 2009 sám vyučuje. Během studií začal natáčet své první filmy. Organizuje filmové a umělecké pořady. Jeho tvorba je často zastoupena na předních evropských i zámořských filmových festivalech (vč. Cannes, Benátek, Sundance, a opakovaně i na MFF Karlovy Vary). V současné době žije také ve Vídni.

He was born in Grieskirchen in 1976 and grew up in Heiligenberg (Upper Austria), where he still lives. He studied experimental visual art at the University of Art and Industrial Arts in Linz, where he has been teaching since 2009. During his studies, he began filming his first films. He organizes film and artistic programs. His work is often represented at leading European and overseas film festivals (including Cannes, Venice, Sundance, and repeatedly at the Karlovy Vary IFF). He is currently also living in Vienna.
