Posvátná hora Tindaya na španělském ostrově Fuerteventura je zachycována filmovou kamerou. Jízda kamery Super 8 v horizontální linii sleduje pouze tento jediný objekt v krajině. Monolitická přítomnost nehybné hory je konfrontována s několika typy pohybů kamery ze tří paralelních výseků jejího obrazu. Zrnitý černobílý filmový materiál a etno hudba zdůrazňují na jedné straně odstup, na straně druhé podmanivou sílu hory, od které se kamera nedokáže odpoutat, ale ani se k ní úplně přiblížit.

The sacred mountain Tindaya on the Spanish island of Fuerteventura is being captured by camera. Just this one object in landscape is being followed by a Super 8 camera, moving in horizontal lines. Monolithic presence of the still mountain is in contrast with different movements of the camera from three parallel cut-outs of its frame. Grainy black and white material and ethno music accentuate, on the one hand, keeping a distance, and the power of the mountain, on the other hand, which the camera is unable to turn away from, nor come all way up close.

David Krems
Narozen v roce 1977 ve Vídni. Studoval divadelní, filmová a mediální studia ve Vídni a ve španělské Salamance. Od roku 2003 se věnuje nezávislé filmové a video tvorbě. Zároveň pracuje pro televizi, jako promítač, spisovatel, mediální archivář a pedagog na katedře fimových a mediálních studií na Vídeňské univerzitě.

He was born in 1977 in Vienna. He studied theatre, film and media studies in Vienna and in Salamanca in Spain. Since 2003, he has been involved in independent film and video production. He also works for television, as a screenwriter, writer, media archivist, and teacher at the Department of Film and Media Studies at the University of Vienna.
